Frankenstein - Theme of the 2009 Carnival in Tenerife

For many years the theme of carnival has caused controversy and this year promises to be no different with the theme of Frankenstein. , with the artist Gonzalo LuÃs Fernández being selected. The theme of Carnival in 2009 (the film from terror) invited individuals who entered for the art work of the carnival to have free rein of their imagination. The judgement of these posters was made public by the Municipality, this year there was 104 posters submitted for the art work of the carnival. The winning subject was the work of artist Gonzalo LuÃs Fernández entitled ‘Monster Dancer’, all the posters will now be exhibited to the public by the Society Municipal Development.
